On Friday, 9th of May, we were excited to welcome the Nukarni vs Burracoppin Netball Derby as the soft launch of our newly upgraded indoor courts.

As part of the MRCLC Revitalisation Project, the new Helsinki sports flooring and line marking are now complete, and the courts are looking fantastic. While there are still a few finishing touches to come—including new scoreboards, seating, and court wall painting—the day provided a great opportunity to showcase the transformed space ahead of the official opening.

The derby was a fantastic success, with strong competition across all grades and plenty of community support from the sidelines. A huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, and came along to support the teams and celebrate this exciting milestone with us.
