About us

Welcome to the Merredin Sports and Recreation hub, your gateway to sporting facilities that cater to all ages and abilities in the Wheatbelt region. Our goal is to inspire healthy lifestyles, foster community connections, and provide exceptional spaces for recreation, fitness, and sport.

Our hub brings together the Merredin Regional Community & Leisure Centre (MRCLC) and the Merredin District Olympic Swimming Pool, offering a comprehensive range of services and activities for residents and visitors alike.

How To Get Here

Merredin Regional Community and Leisure Centre

Established in 2007, the MRCLC is a multi-purpose facility designed to meet the needs of our growing community. It offers:

  • Indoor Courts for basketball, netball, volleyball, and badminton
  • Bowls Greens for social and competitive play
  • Meeting Rooms and event spaces for social and corporate gatherings
  • Family-friendly amenities, including an outdoor children’s playground

Merredin District Olympic Swimming Pool

The Merredin District Olympic Swimming Pool is open from November to March a offering a range of activities for lap swimmers, recreational swimmers, private lessons, and both school and vacation swimming programs. This facility features an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a thrilling water slide with a splash pool, and a shaded toddler pool complete with a charming frog fountain. The pool area is beautifully complemented by a spacious, shaded lawn, providing the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
